Emtek Peduli Corona Donates PPE to Central Java Regional Government

Emtek Peduli Corona through Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih SCTV Indosiar provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and 100,000 Cloth Masks to the Medical Team, Paramedics and the community in the Central Java region through the Central Java Provincial Government, on July 7, 2020. PPE consisting of 5000 Surgical Masks, 1000 N95 Masks, 1000 Foot Covers, 1000 Face Shields, 1000 Hazmat, 1000 Safety Goggles, 5000 Safety Glove, and 1000 Hair Cap were handed over by the Chairman of YPP, Mr. Imam Sudjarwo, to the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, at the Central Java Governor's Office, Jl. Pahlawan No.9, Mugassari, South Semarang District, Semarang City, Central Java.

On this occasion, the Governor of Central Java stated that to handle Covid-19 in Central Java requires the role of the general public, including private parties and companies. Because, if you rely on the government alone, the state will be overwhelmed. "Oh, the nation by itself is not powerful. The state by itself will not be good enough. Therefore, we need the participation of the community, the participation from the commercial and private sectors," said Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo when symbolically receiving Covid-19 assistance in his office, Tuesday (7/7/2020).

According to Ganjar, assistance from the private sector can be needed quickly. If it is through the state, there must be procurement in advance and the method of distribution must be rigid. In contrast, aid from the private sector can be distributed immediately. "If this comes, then we can see from the list that there is a need, the aid can be distributed faster," he added. Ganjar said the assistance from this company is important for those who handle and those affected. Hopefully, the assistance will be useful for medical personnel so that they are comfortable and confident when treating patients. This is also an effort of mutual cooperation in protecting Indonesia. As of today, there are 11 red districts and cities in Central Java. For this reason, the government will not be careless, including currently forming six regional offices in six regencies, in monitoring health, social and economic aspects as a whole.

Emtek Peduli Corona through YPP is currently providing assistance in the form of 5,000 pieces of surgical masks, 1,000 pieces of N95 masks, 1,000 pieces of foot covers, 1,000 pieces of faceshield, 1,000 pieces of hazmat, 1,000 pieces of safety google, and 5,000 pieces of safety glove. 

In a separate place, YPP Chief Executive, Abas Yahya, also handed over PPE and Cloth Masks, 500 hazmat and 500 Foot Covers to RSUD Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal at SCTV/ Indosiar Semarang Transmission Station Jl. Bukit Puncak no. 1 - Bukit Sari Kel. Ngesrep, kec. Banyumanik, Semarang city. The handover was carried out by the Head of Indosiar Semarang Transmission Station, Yusuf Asa'ri to the Head of Medical Equipment of RSUD Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal, Mr. Sugeng Uji Hartono. On the same occasion, YPP also handed over 500 pieces of hazmat and footcover to Panti Wilasa Hospital, Semarang.
