Emtek Cares for Corona Donates PPE to East Java Regional Government

Various Emtek Peduli Corona activities are intended to contribute to preventing the spread of Covid 19 transmission in Indonesia. The distribution of food packages to the community, distribution of PPE for medical teams in various regions directly to health facilities such as hospitals or public health centers or through government organizations such as the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), Indonesian Military (TNI), Indonesian National Police (Polri), Ministries and also local governments are carried out in the hope that efforts to prevent transmission can be resolved immediately. Donations given by viewers through Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP) are channeled to purchase these various needs.

After handing over the PPE support to the Central Java Regional Government through the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, the next day, on Thursday, July 8, 2020 the YPP management, YPP Chairman, Imam Sudjarwo and YPP Executive Chairman, Abas Yahya traveled to East Java to meet the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Parawansa to hand over the PPE. Located at the Grahadi building, Jl. Governor Suryo, Surabaya, YPP Chairman, Imam Sudjarwo met the East Java Governor, Khofifah Indarparawansa, to hand over the assistance consisting of: 5000 pieces of Surgical Mask; 1000 pieces of N95 Mask; 1000 pieces of Foot Cover; 1000 pieces of Face Shield; 1000 pieces of Hazmat; 1000 pieces of Safety Goggle; and 5000 pieces of Safety Glove. 

In addition to the East Java Regional Government, YPP also handed over PPE assistance to the Naval Hospital, Oetomo and Benowo Health Center, Surabaya. The assistance to these health facilities consisted of 500 hazmat and 500 faceshields each. The donation was handed over by YPP Chief Executive, Abas Yahya to both parties at SCTV Transmission station, Surabaya, Jl. Patimura III, Darmo, Surabaya.
