Counseling on Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) at MI Al-Khoiryah, Jatireja Village, Bekasi Regency.

Not only at SDN 01 Tanjung Barat, on August 9, 2017, YPAPK also held PHBS counseling at MI Al-Khoiriyah, Jatireja Village, Bekasi District. In collaboration with the Obor Berkat Indonesia (OBI) Foundation, students in grades 4, 5 & 6 were given an understanding of the importance of PHBS, as children are valuable assets that help determine the progress and strength of a country. So it is very important for us to instill the right mindset and habits from an early age.

The counseling, which began at 09.00 until 12.00, began with understanding and interactive activities so that the children happily followed the course of the counseling and did not feel bored. After the counseling, proper hand washing practices were also given. After the practice, games were held which ended with reading books at the Environmental Education Vehicle (WELI) and watching a knowledge movie.

Hopefully, when they get home, the children can start applying the lessons they learned from the counseling and eventually help improve their health status and that of their families.
