Construction of Houses for Victims of the Kanjuruhan Tragedy

On April 15, 2023, SCTV Indosiar's Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation and the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs constructed homes for victims of the Kanjuruhan tragedy.

The symbolic handover from the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, with the Executive Chairman of YPP and Director of CSR SCM, Imam Sudjarwo took place at Lembayung Street, RT01 RW02, Sunan Gunung Jati, Bumiayu Subdistrict, Kedungkandang District, Malang City. The houses were given to children of the late Andi Setiawan, Rama and Sinta, as well as their grandfather, Rochman. Andi Setiawan was a victim of the Kanjuruhan tragedy some time ago, leaving his children in the care of their grandfather, Rochman, a trash collector who previously lived by the river bank.
