Cataract Operation, Mass Circumcision, General Medicine for 72nd TNI Anniversary with KODAM XIII / Merdeka Manado

Still in commemoration of the Indonesian Armed Forces' 72nd Anniversary, apart from Malang, Kupang, Semarang and Makassar, this time the health service was held in collaboration with KODAM XIII/Merdeka Manado at the Makodam XIII/Merdeka Hall (for general & dental patients, circumcision) and Rumkit Tk III Robert Wolter Monginsidi (for cataract patients).

The health services held on October 3-4, 2017 targeted 500 general and dental patients, 150 circumcision patients, and 75 cataract patients. KEMENHAN also donated prosthesis (assistive devices) to the patients in this event.

KODAM XIII/Merdeka Manado, which was formed in 1957, was deactivated in 1985, and reactivated on December 20, 2016 with a guidance area covering North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, and Gorontalo. 
The social service was opened with remarks from the Managing Director of SCM and Chairman of YPAPK Drs. Imam Sudjarwo M.Si and Kasdam XIII/Merdeka Brigadier General Santos Gunawan Matondang. Also attending the event were Kakesdam Colonel Ckm dr. Benny Untu, Sp.M, Danlanud Colonel PNB Arifaini Nur Dwiyanto, M.Tr, Asiten I of North Sulawesi Provincial Government Drs. Jhon Palandung, M.Si representing the Governor of North Sulawesi and other officials.

It is hoped that this health service will further strengthen the cooperation and relationship between the TNI, Government, Indosiar, SCTV and the community.
