Amidst COVID 19, YPP Supports PMI Blood Donation Activity in Collaboration with the Car Community

Emtek Peduli Corona YPP SCTV Indosiar and the Depok Mobility Eksis Community (MODIS) helped PMI Depok City collect blood in a blood donation activity held at Teras Rimbun, Jl. Jambore No. 5, Cibubur, Ciracas District, East Jakarta on November 22, 2020. From this activity, 40 blood bags were collected which will contribute to replenishing blood supplies in Depok City. 

The existence of the COVID-19 Pandemic has pushed Indonesians into practicing social distancing, Work From Home (WFH), Stay at Home, and other restrictions as an effort to reduce the risk of transmission. This has resulted in an 80% decrease in the blood stock of PMI Depok City, which directly affects patients who routinely need blood transfusions. These patients include those who suffer from thalassemia, hemophilia, patients undergoing dialysis, cancer, and emergencies.
