YPP handed over Phonak Milo Plus type hearing aid for pediatric patient Alesha Viarno, 5 years old. On that occasion, the patient's parents also received education on the correct use and maintenance of hearing aids. In addition, parents also receive education and direction to guide the use in daily activities and it is also hoped that both parents can play a role in providing speech therapy so that the child's speech fluency is maximized. Alesha's hearing was impaired as a result of falling down the stairs as a toddler, which resulted in damage to her auditory nerve fibers so that her hearing was severely impaired.
