From July 18 to July 30, 2020, Emtek Peduli Dampak Corona, continued its distribution of aid to underprivileged residents affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic in Solo and surrounding areas. In collaboration with 25 community stalls that are members of the Mitra Bukalapak Community spread across the Solo, Karanganyar, Sukoharjo, Sragen areas, a total of 5000 food packages containing 5 Kg of Rice, 1 Kg of Granulated Sugar, 1 Kg of Wheat Flour and 1 Liter of Cooking Oil were distributed through a coupon system to underprivileged residents who need assistance because they are directly or indirectly affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic such as daily laborers affected by layoffs, informal workers, mobile food sellers, ojol, garbage men, scavengers, and so on.
In collaboration with stall owners and neighborhood administrators, prospective beneficiaries are selected to get coupons which can later be exchanged for food packages through the nearest Mitra Bukalapak stall. When collecting groceries at the stall, coupon holders must bring and submit the Coupon to the stall by showing the Original KTP and cannot be represented. Through the Mitra Bukalapak application, the shop owner will verify the data of residents who have been registered as beneficiaries. After going through the process, then the residents can receive the food packages. For Solo and surrounding areas, this activity was supervised by SCTV-Indosiar Yogyakarta Transmission Station. Meanwhile, a similar activity in Surabaya was supervised and accompanied by Surabaya Transmission Station.
The same activity was also carried out in Surabaya and its surroundings with a total of 5000 food packages containing similar items. This activity is the third time organized by YPP, SCTV, Indosiar, Serbu Seru Bukalapak, Liputan 6.com, Vidio.com and O Channel. Previously, similar activities were carried out for 2 periods in the Jabodetabek area, so that in total through this activity, Emtek Cares for the Impact of Corona has distributed at least 30,000 food packages to the community in collaboration with Bukalapak Partners. This number is in addition to distributions made either directly through SCTV and Indosiar transmission stations throughout Indonesia or in partnership with governments such as the Ministry of Social Affairs, TNI, Polri, BNPB, Central Java Regional Government, East Java Regional Government and Surabaya City Government some time ago.
