50 Residents of Pameungpeuk, Garut Underwent Cataract Surgery by YPP-AO Care-West Java PERDAMI at Pameungpeuk Regional Hospital

Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation has collaborated with AO care as well as West Java PERDAMI to hold a social service activity at Pameungpeuk Hospital, Garut with a target of treating 50 eyes on April 1, 2021. This location was chosen because of the large number of cataract patients on the coast of Pameungpeuk despite the limited number of ophthalmologists. This social activity has indeed been awaited by residents of underprivileged communities due to their inability to pay for independent medical expenses while medical insurance is still constrained due to problems with administration.
