10,000 Emtek Peduli Corona Food Packages Distributed Through Bukalapak in Jabodetabek

Emtek Peduli Corona through Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation continues to distribute donations from SCTV, Indosiar, O Channel viewers, Liputan 6.com news portal visitors, Vidio.com visitors and subscribers, Serbu Seru Bukalapak participants through the provision of 10,000 Food Packages in collaboration with Bukalapak Partners. The activity, which was carried out from June 15 to June 30, 2020, targeted underprivileged citizens by using the distribution channel of small stalls that joined the Mitra Bukalapak (Mitra BL) community in Jakarta, Bekasi and Tangerang. A total of 50 Bukalapak Partner Stalls distributed food packages containing 5 kg of rice, 1 kg of sugar, 1 kg of flour, 1 liter of cooking oil.

This distribution of food packages through Mitra BL is the third distribution since the Covid-19 Pandemic spread. This distribution is the second time after being carried out in May 2020 with also 10,000 food packages distributed throughout Jabodetabek. So that in total in these two distributions of Emtek Peduli Corona Program has distributed 20,000 food packages through BL Partners. That is excluding the food packages distributed by Emtek Peduli Corona through YPP Team in collaboration with other institutions such as the Ministry, Police, Army, and so on.

In the Emtek Peduli Corona food package activity in collaboration with BL Partners, 200 food packages were entrusted to each BL Partner stall. The focus of distribution is prioritized to the community around the stalls who are in need because they are directly or indirectly affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. They include daily laborers affected by layoffs, informal workers, itinerant food sellers, online motorcycle taxis, garbage men, scavengers, elderly widows. 

In order to comply with the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) rules, the distribution of food packages was carried out in 3 distribution periods: Period I, June 15 to 22; Period 2. June 20 to 27 and Period 3. June 25th to 30th. In handing over to residents, rules are made as an effort to prevent the transmission of Covid 19 and minimize the potential for horizontal friction between residents or with local RT / RW administrators. This effort is through collaboration with Mitra BL stalls and local RT administrators who select prospective recipients, because residents are only entitled to get 1 food coupon to be exchanged for basic necessities. When collecting groceries at Mitra BL stalls, residents must bring and submit the coupon to the Mitra BL stall while showing the original Identification Number. This collection cannot be represented. Before handing over the groceries, the Mitra BL shop owner will verify and match the data of the residents in the list of beneficiaries for further data input with the Bukalapak application. The residents have also been informed of the schedule for collecting groceries at the nearest Mitra BL stall and the availability of food packages in accordance with the Voucher given, so they do not need to crowd.
